I can't stand people who steal music / films online.

Something that really annoys me is how people have the audacity to steal music and films in the first place. You can make up all the excuses you want, but it's still stealing. Every time you download a copyrighted piece of material without paying the correct price, you're stealing.

You, and only you are responsible for SOPA and PIPA's creation.

People like this guy, http://ploum.net/post/im-a-pirate are responsible. He steals stuff, an tries to make it sound as if it's actually not his fault.

You can preach about how you think the music industry doesn't do enough to sell music online, but at the end of the day, it's irrelevant. Nothing gives you the right to steal, especially a excuse as full of crap as that one.

Sure, SOPA has its misgivings and is a little overboard, but make no mistake, the intentions behind it are sound. Sure, the web an awesome medium to sell music/movies on, but there's no reason why you can't use iTunes. You're not exempt from having to pay. And you don't deserve to, either.
